Update 11-13-25

Tried a new video platform - perhaps you hear the music and visual introduction and closing. What are your thoughts?

For those that prefer to read versus listen/watch the update --- here is what I mentioned:

1) Our Celebration Sunday and Chili Luncheon was a great fun and success! Thank you to all who participated!

2) If you have not submitted your planned giving for 2026, please do so we can plan how FPCL will give and live in the mission of Christ in 2026.

3) How is God inviting you to lead/serve?

- there are many opportunities: from serving and welcoming at the Community Dinner; from participating in the Thanksgiving Dinners; to accepting invitation to lead as an elder or deacon; to leading worship as a liturgist or greeting those who come to worship. If none of these connect with you, call the church office and let us talk with you about how/where.

4) Speaking of Thanksgiving Dinners --- if you need to reserve one for you or a neighbor, please call 720-662-7289 (I read this incorrectly in the video)

5) Our Christmas Cantata will be performed on December 21 --- there is still time for you to join the rehearsals and share your joyful noise!

6) Advent will begin on November 30 and carry us through December 24. Come join the heart-work to prepare for Christ's coming!

7) Poinsettias --- the beautiful red-leafed plant connected with Advent --- can be ordered beginning this Sunday. Order a poinsettia in honor or memory of a loved one, and then take the plant home after Christmas Eve services.

****Something extra: we will decorate for Advent --- our 'Hanging of the Greens' on Saturday, November 29 from 9-Noon --- come join us!
